Alinda Davis

Ms. Alinda Faye Davis was born on November 24, 1963 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Charles Davis and Lu Jesse Chain. She departed this earthly body on September 9, 2020 in a local hospital. Alinda accepted Christ into her life at a very young age. The love of God has always been a big part of her life. Alinda loved sharing God’s words with anyone. Alinda loved spending time with her family and friends. Her tender heart was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She enjoyed hosting dinner parties and feeding her neighbors. She also liked dancing, listening to music, and playing cards. She will be met in heaven by her loving parents, Charles Davis and Lee Jesse Chain; father of her sons, Bobby Hayes Jr.; brother, Tommy Chain; sisters, Rose Mary Chain, Gwenvera Chain, and Marcia L. Key She leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, Antoine Davis and Terrance Davis (fiancé, Crystal Smith); seven grandchildren, De’Shayla T. Hayes, Kanesha Davis, Bailey Davis, Antoine Jr. Davis, Jawarren Smith, Stacey Smith, and Akiraius Smith; two great grandchildren, Elijah Kromah and Raelyn Koon; two sisters, Lucille Chain and Elaine Davis; four brothers, Melvin Chain, Paul Chain, Charles D. Davis, and Darren Davis; grandmother of her sons, Delores Hayes; three of her best friends Kim Waldrop, Faye Lester, and Cynthia Lester; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and loved ones. Public viewing will be held 9:00 am - 12:00pm Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by John P.
