John Harris Allen, 73, of Milton, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. John was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, where he graduated from The Georgia Military Preparatory School. He went on to earn his electrician’s license, moved to Orlando, Florida, where he spent most of his adult life working in the Electrician/HVAC/Construction Industry. John moved to Milton, Florida, in 2002 to help his mother after her husband, Reginald Gray Sr., passed away. John is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Allen; and loving mother, Mary Ellen Gray. John is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Marcie; son, John Jr.; and his aunt, Elaine Turner, who he referred to as “Sister”. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and his brothers, James, Steven and Reginald Gray Jr. Lewis Funeral Home of Milton has been entrusted with arrangements.
