Bryon Ray Knipp, age 47, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, entered into rest Sunday, September 6, 2020, in Carter County, Kentucky. He was born May 28, 1973, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of David and Trina Johnson Knipp. Bryon was a laborer, and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed playing the guitar, woodworking, metalworking and he was an avid Star Trek watcher. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lori Ann Mays Knipp, the mother of his children. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Alex Bryon Knipp of Clearfield, Kentucky and Matthew Ryan Knipp of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter, Jacey Beth Knipp of Ashland, Kentucky; his maternal grandmother, Billie Ruth Sparks of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and his paternal grandfather, William E. Knipp Jr. (Yvonne) of Grahn, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a private graveside service on Friday, at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Richard Toeppe officiating.
