Lucius went to be with his lord on Monday, September 07, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Lora Ree Manning, 1 daughter; Cheire Manning, 2 brothers; Leon Manning, and Lee Manning, and 1 sister; Mary Smith. He leaves behind his legacy to 3 sons; Lucius Manning Jr., Lonnie Manning, and Derek Manning, 4 daughters; Alice Fay Jones, Regina Manning, Antoinette Mallett, and Latrice Winfield, 2 sisters; Harriet Naves, and Ruby Jones, 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, September, 10, 2020 from 4:00 PM tp 6:00 PM at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2020 at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, at 1:00 PM. Friends may meet with the family a half hour prior to services at 12:30 PM.
