Oscar F. Bowen Obituary

Oscar Franklin Bowen was born on October 27, 1942 in Coalinga, California. He was the third child, but first son of Willie Frank and Pernia Lovena (Lanning) Bowen. He was also the first Lanning grandson.
His family moved to Oklahoma City in 1950s. Oscar spent his adult life in the mid-south states of Texas, Alabama, and Mississippi before coming to Mangum in 2019.
He is survived by Shirley Wulff of Oklahoma City; Drenda Hunt of Oklahoma City; and Chester and Donna Bowen of Mangum, Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Oscar is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lovena Bowen; two brothers Clarence Calvin (Butch) Bowen, and Tony Lester Bowen; two sisters Laverne Hood and Linda Lollar.

Private family committal service will be held at Cavecreek Cemetery, Harmon County, Oklahoma.

Services have been entrusted to Greer Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma.
