<p>VILLE PLATTE – Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Friday, September 11, 2020, for Joseph Anthony Bordelon, 53, who passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 in New Orleans, LA.</p> <p>Pastor Barry Gautreaux will conduct the funeral services.</p> <p>Burial will take place in Old Ville Platte Cemetery.</p> <p>Joseph Anthony Bordelon was born in Ville Platte, LA. on June 23, 1967 to Joseph A. B. Bordelon and Dorothy May Mayer. Joseph was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. He was a people person. He loved visiting with family and friends and hanging out with those he loved. </p> <p>He is survived by his mother, Dorothy May Mayer of Ville Platte; son, Treva Bordelon of Michigan; brothers, Stephen Roy Bordelon and wife, Debbie of Grand Prairie, Dennis Wayne Bordelon of Mamou, and Tracey Ray Bordelon and wife, Mary of Ville Platte; and sister, Kathy Ann Bordelon of Grand Prairie, fiancee,' Ann Fontenot of Ville Platte, and step-sons, Nicholas and Christian Fontenot </p> <p>He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. B. Bordelon.</p> <p>The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
