Bonnie M. Peterson, 79, died Monday, September 7, 2020 at Taylor House Hospice. A private family graveside service will be held at the Burt Township Cemetery in Burt, Iowa. Bonnie was born August 22, 1941 in Lone Rock, Iowa to Arthur and Minnie (Knoll) Baker. She was a graduate of Sentral Community School in Fenton, Iowa. Bonnie worked for the State of Iowa in the Revenue Department and the Department of General Services, retiring in August of 1997. She enjoyed gardening, yardwork and woodworking. Survivors include her son, Rod (Robin) Lacey of Des Moines; three granddaughters; four grandsons; brother, Roger (Margaret) Baker of Florida; sister, Virginia Filmer of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Harvey and Raymond Baker; sister, Shirley Schultz; nephews: Charles Schultz and Kelly Baker; sister in law, Judy Baker.
