Bertha Perea
<p>Bertha Perea, age 75, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 2, 2020, while surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, where she was a member of the Catholic Community. Bertha enjoyed singing in the Church choir, traveling with Church pilgrimages to visit the different shrines all over the world; and especially spending time with her family. </p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Teresa Lopez; son Clyde P. Perea. Bertha is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Tony Perea; her children, Terry Tanner and husband Ty, Tony Perea and wife Michelle, Dominic Perea and wife Angela, Nadine Mihan and husband Patrick and Bert Perea and wife Alicia; 29 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Geneva Salazar and husband Pancho, Lucy Saiz and husband Jimmy; many other loving relatives and friends. Bertha will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.</p> <p>Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family ~ Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque, 87114. A Rosary will be recited Friday, September 11, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Community , 12500 Carmel Ave NE, Albuquerque, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Interment will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Park in Albuquerque. Casket Bearers will be Elias Gutierrez, Justin Perea, Nicholas Romero, Antonio Perea, Robert Perea, and Nicholas Perea.
