Mary Helen Cotner Reaves, age 63, of Pine Bluff, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020.

Mary was born March 22, 1957 at Pine Bluff, a daughter of Carrol Dean Cotner of Pine Bluff and the late Yvonne Gray Cotner. She graduated from White Hall High School in 1975, where she was a majorette for the band and made many friendships . She later attended the University of Central Arkansas.

The majority of her work career included a data entry clerk at Systematics and as a collector for Aramark Services. She later became a substitute teacher in the White Hall School District. Mary was also a substitute teacher for four years while living in Van Buren, AR.

Mary was a member of Claud Road Baptist Church. She loved her women’s Sunday school class and singing “Victory in Jesus”. She was also family-centered and loved all of her family.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband of 42 years, Dennis Earl Reaves; two daughters, Jessica Guyewski (Daniel) and Jacqueline Kirts (Juice); two grandchildren, Jacob Guyewski and Lucy Kirts; and a sister, Lucy Mullikin (Dee).

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery with Brother Mark Staples officiating. Arrangements are by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
