Peter O. Jaegers, 70, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born Astoria, NY, on December 21, 1949, the son of the late Robert and Madalynne (Stoddard) Jaegers. He served in the US Air Force from 1970-1978.On February 26, 1977, he was united in marriage to Crystal Brower. Pete was an HVAC specialist for many years, working for Nolan-Jample and later Dave Prusak Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Surviving besides his loving wife of 43 years, Crystal, are five daughters, Crystal Jaegers, Vickie (Jeremy) Jaegers-Ellis, Cheryl (Evan) Jaegers-Alligood, Stephanie Jaegers (Luis) and Kathy Arp; eight sons, Peter (Amy), Tim, Jason (Jessica), Jeremy (Amanda), Brian, Michael (Huyen), Daniel(Tammy) and Darren; two sisters, Marcie and Roberta; his Aunt Joan; 24 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Justin. Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Saturday, September 12th from 2-4:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home at one time, everyone must wear a face covering upon entering and proper social distancing protocols must be adhered to once inside.
