<p><span style="font-size:22px;"><em>Emmalene &ldquo;Hamilton&rdquo; Blankenship of Kimper, KY departed this life Saturday, September 5, 2020 at her daughter&rsquo;s residence. She was born August 25, 1949 at Stopover, KY the daughter of the late George and Oma &ldquo;Adkins&rdquo; Hamilton. She was 71 years old.</em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:22px;"><em>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Orville Gene &ldquo;Shakey&rdquo; Blankenship; brothers: Harrison, Ira, Leamon, Charles, Luther, Tommy and John Hamilton; sisters: her twin, Evalene Hamilton, and Gay Irene Casey, Bertha Spencer and Stella Jean Hamilton.</em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:22px;"><em>Emmalene was a loving homemaker who was crazy about her grandchildren.&nbsp; She loved helping others and always saw the good in everyone. She had a green thumb and enjoyed planting flowers. Emmalene also enjoyed cook outs, fishing and singing in church, even when she came home to begin hospice she was singing. She was of the Pentecostal faith.</em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:22px;"><em>Survivors who remain to honor her memory include her son: Donald Mitch Fuller of Kimper, KY, a daughter: Tammy S. Coleman also of Kimper KY, three stepsons: Kevin Wayne (Leah) Fuller of Louisville, KY, Lee (Misty) Blankenship of McCarr, KY, Michael (Mary Lilly) Blankenship of Morganfield, KY; sisters: Phoebia Hurley and Ruth Robinette both of Stopover, KY, grandsons: Harold Smith and Timothy Fuller, one who was like a grandson: Wayne Wolford great grandchildren: Cage, Quinn, Kayden and Trinity, special niece: Mary Combs and a special nephew Carl (Hassell) Hamilton. She is also survived by other family, neighbors and friends.</em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:22px;"><em>Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the Woodman Community Church of Stopover, KY with the Pastor Odis Blankenship and Larry Rife officiating.</em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:22px;"><em>Burial will follow in the Blankenship Family Cemetery of Kimper, KY.</em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:22px;"><em>Visitation will begin at the church Monday and Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services nightly at 7:00 P.M.</em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:22px;"><em>The Jones &amp; West Funeral Home of Phelps, KY is serving the Blankenship family. Emmalene “Hamilton” Blankenship of Kimper, KY departed this life Saturday, September 5, 2020 at her daughter’s residence. She was born August 25, 1949 at Stopover, KY the daughter of the late George and Oma “Adkins” Hamilton. She was 71 years old.

Visitation will begin at the church Monday and Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services nightly at 7:00 P.M.
