James “Jimbo” Walker
<p>James “Jimbo” William Walker, 65, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020. He was born September 25, 1954 to James & Verna Walker in Carlsbad, NM. Jimbo is survived by the love of his life of 44 years, Cathy Walker; children: Fawn Walker, Michael Brannon Walker, Tiffney Walker Burkham and husband, Charlie; 6 grandchildren: Tristan Walker, Mason Estrada, Mattney Estrada, Kilea Estrada, Josh Walker and Jasmine Walker; one brother Richard Walker as well as numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Jimbo was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He lived his life to the fullest and loved his grandkids. He enjoyed quick trips to the mountains and loved to play the slots. Jimbo was a great mentor to all his family. He will forever be missed so much by all of his family and friends.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Walker; father, Jimmy Walker; sister, Gerri McDonald and brother, Ray Walker.</p> <p>Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 12, 2020 at First United Methodist Church. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.</p>Obituary
