Scott W. Lamont, 56, of East Shore Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI. Born on February 18, 1964 in Warwick, RI, he was the son of Joan (Lyons) Lamont and the late William H. Lamont.

Scott was a graduate of Frostburg University, Maryland and made many friends there. He was successful in sports, a great baseball player and a coach at Connie Mack, Chariho, RI. He was an avid bowler and as a child spent countless hours fishing on Lake Tiogue in Coventry. He was a friend to a great many people, especially to the First Baptist Church of West Warwick, RI. He was a great father and will be sadly missed.

Besides his mother; Joan Lamont, Scott is survived by two children; Elena W. Lamont and Mason M. Lamont, a brother; Douglas W. Lamont and his wife Cyndi and two nieces; Christine and Audrey.

His celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
