Richard Dale Nawman

NAWMAN, Richard Dale "Dick" age 80 of Springfield passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 5, 2020. He was born on November 7, 1939 to the late Jacob H. and Minnie Oplis (Gregory) Nawman in Lisbon, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Dick is preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Nawman, Raymond E. Nawman, and James H. Nawman; a sister, Norma (Eddie) Osborne and brother-in-law, John Miller. He leaves behind his beloved wife of nearly sixty years, Judy (Roberts) Nawman; a daughter, Janet (Craig) Lewis; grandchildren: Brendan Lewis and Karissa Lewis; sister, Ruby Miller; brother, Carl (Beatrice) Nawman and sisters-in-law, Cris Nawman and Lillian Nawman as well as several nieces and nephews. Dick proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and retired from Navistar after 30 dedicated years. He enjoyed golfing and all types of car racing. Dick was a member of the South Charleston American Legion and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles post 397. More than anything though, Dick loved his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center will be handling the private family services.
