Michael Raymond Lauer, age 71, of Nisswa passed away at his home on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Mike was born on May 26, 1949 in Saint Cloud, to the late Ambrose & Clara (Abfalter) Lauer. He married Deborah Nieters on August 27, 1971. Mike loved his family, the Lord Jesus Christ, the outdoors – especially deer hunting, America and our president Donald J. Trump. Mike served as a Radio man in the Marines during the Vietnam conflict. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 49 years, Deb; children: Lee (Sara) Lauer, Paul (Megan) Lauer, Linda (Roy) Nouis, John (Sarah) Lauer, and Jill Lauer (Wade Christopherson); 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Ronnie Lauer, Marlene (John) Determan, and Linda Martini. Mike is preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Roger Lauer, Larry Lauer and Tom Lauer. A private family celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Mike and Deb’s home in Nisswa.
