<p>Jefferson, SC</p> <p> Mrs. Macy Blackburn Crook, age 85, entered into rest on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 7, 2020 at Jefferson Town Cemetery by Duane Stegall and Dr. Rick Hunter. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.</p> <p>Mrs. Crook was born January 9, 1935 in Chesterfield county, a daughter of the late Roth and Dorothy Rowell Blackburn. She was a longtime member of Jefferson Baptist Church, where Macy taught Sunday school and loved singing in the choir.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crook was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Cull” Crook.</p> <p>Survivors include her brother, Dewey (Patsy) Blackburn of Pageland, SC; sisters, Myrtis McCray of Monroe, NC, Carolyn Platts of Mint Hill, NC, and Eva Appel of Spring Arbor, MI; also numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice</p> <p>Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (www.mrcfuneralhome.com) of Chesterfield, SC is serving the Crook family.</p>Obituary
