Phyllis May Kuyp Strathmore, Alberta Obituary

Phyllis May Kuyp

Phyllis May Kuyp, beloved wife of Adrian (Butch) Kuyp, passed away suddenly in her home on September 2, 2020. Born in Regina on September 11, 1950 to Phillip and Charlotte Worman, Phyllis grew up in Saskatoon, and over the years Phyllis and Butch made their homes in many places, most recently Strathmore Alberta, moms most favorite by far was their house in Chan Chemuyil, Mexico. Mom hated the cold and snow, she was thrilled at being able to be in Mexico for the winters. Mom loved swimming in the ocean, seeing sea turtles, drinking margaritas at Xpu-Ha, going to concerts, spending time gardening, cooking, quilting, feeding the hummingbirds, and most of all being with family and friends. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents and infant grandson Jamie. Phyllis will be sorely missed by her loving husband, Adrian; two daughters, Cindy (Gerry) Hill and Angela (Shaun) Skrumeda; granddaughter, Anastasia Hill (Curtis Giesbrecht), and sister, Florence (Gilbert) Sloanes. Phyllis’ wish was to be cremated and that no formal services be held.
