June Beverly Lafee
<p> </p> <p><strong> It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of June Lafee of Blairmore, AB on September 1, 2020. She was 72 years of age.</strong></p> <p><strong> June was born on December 13, 1947 in Denbigh, ON. She grew up to appreciate family, friends and all of life’s blessings. On December 31, 1964, June married Donald James Lafee. The happy couple moved from Ontario to the Crowsnest Pass, AB in 1966 where they raised their family and made lasting relationships.</strong></p> <p><strong> When June wasn’t busy taking care of her family, she enjoyed playing cards, knitting and watching movies and any kind of murder mystery, especially “Murder, She Wrote” and “Murdoch Mysteries”. More than anything, June treasured spending time with her family – they were her pride and joy. Fond memories will remain with her loved ones forever. </strong></p> <p><strong> Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her sons, John (Ruth) Lafee and Wade Lafee; her daughters, Daisy (Tim) Caron, Robin Hayman and Yvonne (Robin) Lafee; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brothers, William (Connie) Mountney and Lynn (Jackie) Mountney; her sisters, Jean Mountney and Joan (Raymond) Banga; as well as her extended family and many friends.</strong></p> <p><strong> She was predeceased by her husband, Donald James Lafee; her parents Lloyd Joseph William and Josephine Eleanor Mountney; her daughter, Christina Langridge; her granddaughter, Danielle Caron; her sister Jessie Tuma; her grandmother, Ada Cuddy; her nephew, Leonard Laporte Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Violet and Guy Lafee.</strong></p> <p><strong> In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation (<a href="http://www.heartandstroke.ca">www.heartandstroke.ca</a>).
