Wanda Kay Rogers Williams, 79, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2020. She was a lifetime member of Joy Tabernacle Baptist Church. When she was younger she worked at her father’s store, Roger’s Grocery on Bean Street and later retired from J.W. Bray Hosiery Mill. She was a very caring person and worked in the nursery at her church. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Williams; parents, Earl and Estelle Rogers and siblings, Joe Rogers and Doris Rogers.
Survivors are her loving step-son and daughter-in-law who were her caretakers, Ron and Sheryl Williams; grandchildren, Danielle Zelonis, Kristopher Zelonis; great grandchildren, Gage, Justus and Chasabelle.
Services will be Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phil Shellabarger officiating. Visitation will on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Joy Baptist Tabernacle Church in care of the children’s nursery.
