Deborah Faye Reynolds Burns, age 57, of 1238 Commercial Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany. She was born August 21, 1963 in Clifton Forge to the late Edgar Lee Reynolds and Joan Hyler Reynolds Nicely. She was a homemaker throughout her life and a wonderful wife, mother grandmother and person. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Jack Nicely and a brother, Delbert Lee “Dale” Reynolds. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Harvey “Boo” Burns, two daughters, Nicole Faye Burns and husband Wayne and Amber Dawn Burns, two brothers, Daryl Reynolds and Edward Eugene Reynolds and wife Sarah, and a grandson, Jayden Johnson, all of Clifton Forge. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special friends, Margaret Brown, Marilyn Bliss, Bonnie Simmons and Tina Coleman. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Pam Irvine officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
