<p style="text-align: center;">David Allen Jarrett&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Beloved Husband, Father, and Papa&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>David Allen Jarrett, 69, of Orlando, FL, passed away at home surrounded by his family after a courageous 21-month battle with brain cancer on September 1, 2020.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Dave was born on July 31, 1951 in Anderson, IN to Richard and Margaret Jarrett. He attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He moved to Orlando, FL in 1978. Dave quickly rose through the ranks at Walt Disney World and had a fulfilling career in the hospitality industry with a passion for food and beverage.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>He married Donna Laurie Underwood on June 21, 1980 and was an amazingly dedicated family man. He enjoyed traveling, sports, cooking and entertaining family and friends. He was a faithful member of the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Dave served as a long-standing board member of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and was President in 1997. During his time as president, he was proud to have started the Educational Foundation&rsquo;s ProStart Program, which is now the largest in the nation. In recent years, he served on the board of The Camaraderie Foundation supporting military veterans and their families. Dave was a cherished mentor, role model, leader, and friend.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Donna; son, Beau and wife Amanda, grandchildren Collins (7) and Olivia (4); daughter, Abby Orlosky and husband Tim; daughter, Brooke Thompson and husband Christopher; brothers Jeff Jarrett and wife Sheree; Jim Jarrett and wife Gretchen, and mother-in-law Millie Underwood. Dave is preceded in death by his father, Richard Jarrett; mother, Margaret Jarrett, and father-in-law, John Underwood.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church located at 4545 Anderson Road, Orlando, FL 32812 on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10:30 am.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Memorials may be given to The Camaraderie Foundation 2488 E Michigan St, Orlando, Fl 32806 in memory of Dave Jarrett for his passion and dedication to our Veterans and this organization.&nbsp;</p> <p>The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the medical teams at Orlando Health and Moffitt Cancer Center for their love and treatment of Dave Jarrett.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Beloved Husband, Father, and Papa 

 

David Allen Jarrett, 69, of Orlando, FL, passed away at home surrounded by his family after a courageous 21-month battle with brain cancer on September 1, 2020.  

Dave was born on July 31, 1951 in Anderson, IN to Richard and Margaret Jarrett. He attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He moved to Orlando, FL in 1978. Dave quickly rose through the ranks at Walt Disney World and had a fulfilling career in the hospitality industry with a passion for food and beverage.
