<p style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-size:18px;">Nicole Ann Russell was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia on March 22, 1977 and passed away in Ponoka, Alberta on August 30, 2020.</span></em></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-size:18px;">Nicole is the loving wife of Sam Patenaude and mother of Kailey. Nicole is also survived by her mother Pat Russell of Ponoka, Alberta; her father Stan Russell of Manitoulin Island, Ontario; and her brothers Daniel (Miki) of Kaohsiung,Taiwan and Josh of Calgary, Alberta. Nicole is the aunt to Teo Russell of Calgary and Aubrie Russell of Kaohsiung. Nicole was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, sister-in-law and friend to many throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.</span></em></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-size:18px;">She was a strong, independent, intelligent and hard working woman fulfilling her job at the Centennial Centre for 10 years - with a smile on her face despite her daily challenges. Her love of travel took her to such places as Florida, Taiwan and especially Mexico where she married Sam, the love of her life on November 16, 2018 where they were surrounded by family and friends. Nicole will be dearly missed. </span></em></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-size:18px;">In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.</span></em></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-size:18px;">A private celebration of life will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Ponoka Funeral Home.</span></em></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="font-size:18px;">The service will be livestreamed and may be attended virtually by visiting this page at service time and selecting the "View Funeral Webcast" button below.
