A Homegoing Service for Mrs. Lillian W. Tolbert of Tampa, Florida who passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020, will be held on Saturday, September 5th, 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Rev. Michael B. Price I, pastor of Victory AME Church, officiating. The interment will follow. Lillian W. Tolbert was born February 12, 1935 in Tampa, Florida. She enjoyed making ceramics, praying and taking care of others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pinkie (Bozeman) Williams, Sr.; son, Stanley Tolbert; siblings, Marvin Jackson, Evelyn Cohen, Mildred McNair and Frank Williams, Jr.; nephew, Harold Williams; nieces, Ethel McQuay and Joyce Ann Harris.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Rudolph “Rudy” Tolbert; children, Ronnie Tolbert (Anna), Rudolph “Pete” Tolbert (Donna), Reginald Tolbert (Natalie Wilson), Deborah  Burt (John Henry), Darryl Tolbert (Tameka) and Marlise Tolbert-Jones; Ronnie “Trey” Tolbert, LaToshia Jones, Ronnie “Omari” Tolbert, DeMarcus Tolbert, LaKisha Tolbert,  LaKreshia Tolbert, Reginald Wingo, Claudia Wingo, Reginald Tolbert, Jr., Raine Tolbert,  Riley Tolbert, RoShonda Burt,  Michael Burt, Celeshia Tolbert, Cory Tolbert,  Catrina Tolbert,  Darrly Tolbert, Jr.,  Justice and Justin Simmons, Carlie Jackson, DeShontia Jones and Damani Jones;  21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Robert “Putt” Williams (Ruby); sister, Frances Pascoe; nieces, Sandra Williams, Judy Ellis, Sheila Nicoles, Bridgette McNair and Ann McNamie; nephews, Michael Pascoe (Veronica), Teddy Ricks and Harold Ricks; life-time friends, Louvenia Caldwell, Betty Canty, Lois Scott, Linda Herring, Beverly Webb, Eloise Griffie and William “Billy” Larry; adopted daughter, Earnestine Pringley; adopted granddaughter, Toni Mitchell; daughter-in-love, Letty Tolbert; godmother, Twanda Bradley; goddaughter, Linda Canty; the Tolbert and Pringley families of  Tampa, Miami, Inverness, New York and Philadelphia; the neighbors, progress village So. 88th street family.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 4th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. We are following the CDC guidelines.
