Linda Sue Bruce

Linda Sue Bruce was born May 14, 1945 in Joplin, Missouri to Riley and Harriette Packer. Linda was a child of the military and travelled around Europe with her stepfather, Bob Conway Sr. As an adult, she returned to Lawton, OK where she met and married the love of her life, 1 Sgt. Ronald A. Bruce. For 33 years, they shared many adventures both in Europe and at home in Oklahoma. Together they founded Bruce’s Caring Hearts Animal Sanctuary to provide homes for abandoned and abused animals. Linda is survived by her husband, Ronald Bruce; brother, Bob Conway Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Gilliland; and granddaughter, Sophie Gilliland.
