Fred Mitchell "Tucker" Glad the son of Fred Victor and Mae (Kerr) Glad was born January 12, 1926, in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma and departed this life on August 28, 2020, in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 16 days.

The baby of 12, he and his brothers all went to join the Navy, while in line his brothers were all sent to the Navy, and he was sent to the Marines. Tucker served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp during WWII where he earned a Purple Heart, Combat Action for Service award for WWII, Presidential Unit Citation for Service in Okinawa, American Campaign Medal for WWII, Asiatic/Pacific Campaign Medal with a Bronze Star, WWII Victory Medal and an Expert Rifle Badge. Tucker was a Mason and Shriner for over 50 years. He was a member of the VFW and the oldest member of the American Legion. Tucker enjoyed the outdoors; he loved to hunt and fish. He killed his last deer at the age of 92. Tucker lived his life fully and loved his family deeply. He touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ethel Glad; four sisters; 7 brothers; one grandchild Jeremy Glad and one great-grandchild Candis Gross.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his children Marilyn Jean Glad of Edmond, Judith Ann Glad of Oklahoma City and Johnnie Ray Glad and wife Penny of Tahlequah; 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
