It is with great sadness the family of the late Ruby Ella Isaacs of Lewin's Cove announce her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on August 31, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Wayne ( Hilda) of Lewin's Cove, Harold Jr. (Patsy) of Salmanier and James (Priscillia) of Salmanier; daugter-in-law Faye of Lewin's Cove; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; brothers Gordon (Georgina), Billy (Jessie), Paul (Margaret), Norman Jr. (Marion), Don (Viv) and Amos (Brenda); sister Shirley and Pamela; brother-in-law Tom; sister-in-law Marie; many nieces and nephews plus large circle of extended family and friends. Predeceased by husband Harold; infant children Wallace and Hazel; son Boyd; grandsons Harold and Jason; great grandson Jackson;brother George Lander; sister Barbara and daughter-in-law Laura Isaacs. In keeping with covid 19 regulations there will be a walk thru visitation on Monday 7-9pm for family only,Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 2-4pm , 7-9pm (with a maximum of 20 people in funeral home). No food or beverages permitted. Funeral service to take place from Serenity Chapel on Wednesday , September 2nd, 2020 at 2PM with interment following at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hodder's Point. Flowers gratefully accepted or in her memory donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery Fund, Hodder's Point. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
