<p>Tracy Lee Houston of Swan River, Passed away on August 17th, 2020 at the age of 50 years.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Tracy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 1st, 1990 to Barry and Elizabeth Chalmers. She received her education at the Swan Valley Regional Secondary School and Red River Community College, where she took advertising and graphic design.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>On October 9th, 1999 Tracy married her husband, David Houston of about 20 years.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>During Tracy&rsquo;s life she was a woman of many gifts. She loved acting, which she showed while she was with the Valley Stage Players and loved spending time at Whitefish Lake. Tracy was looking forward to building a semi-retirement home at Lake Winnipeg. Earlier in her life she was a competitive diver and water skier. Tracy and Helen, her cousin, were always up to mischief in their teenage years, which developed into a close bond into her adulthood. She sponsored three children, two from Indonesia and one from Africa. The light of her life are her son Dallas and husband David. She wholeheartedly enjoyed serving as a lifeguard and spent many summers teaching many children and later made a career out of it, as the Deck Supervisor at the Richardson Aquatic Center.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Tracy was a graphic designer in Calgary and later for the Star and Times. she was passionate about art, photography, painting oil pastels and charcoal drawings. She entered several juried art shows. Hours and hours were spent painting with Jean Baker and mom. She always loved visiting with friends and families. Christmas will never be the same anymore without Tracy with us to sing Christmas carols. Tracy had such a heart for her animals; dogs, cats and her horse Corby Jack. Horseback riding was one of her favorite ways to spend time. As an avid reality tv fan she was hooked on Survivor. Tracy had a huge enthusiasm for life and loved making everyone laugh.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Tracy is survived by; her husband David; son Dallas; parents Barry and Elizabeth Chalmers; sisters Cindy, Daphne (Donnie) and Sharalyn (Neil); as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Tracy was predeceased by; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Pat and Nona Lee Hall; nephew Jason and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In keeping with Tracy&rsquo;s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service has taken place with Pastor Bob Lewis officiating.</p>
