Annie A. Cleland ,92, passed away peacefully August 27th at St.Andrews village, Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Born in Boothbay Harbor on January 9,1928, daughter of Carrie and Parker Brewer, Annie was the middle child of seven children. After school Annie and her siblings would enjoy playing outside during the winter season and skating on the little pond that was down the hill from her house. They would also gather at the school yard and play with her childhood friends. After graduating from grammar school Annie began working. She would clean houses which she enjoyed doing for many years. When Annie had time to relax she enjoyed reading and gardening. Pansies were her favorite flower. Annie loved country western music as did her father. Her favorite singer was Roy Rogers. Her favorite song by him was Home On The Range. In 1947 Annie wed Harold Bradshaw, they were married for 6 years. Together they had two children Eugene Bradshaw born 1946 and Barbara Specyalski born 1948. Later in life she met Roy Cleland, they were wed December 1962 and were married for 21 years. A favorite pastime of theirs after a long day of work was watching The Dukes of Hazard together. Annie is predeceased by her mother Carrie, Father Parker, her first husband Harold, second husband Roy, Sister Barbara, Sister Francis, Brother Shirley, brother Wallace, brother Junior and grandson Harold. Survivors include her sister Nancy Long of Paris,Maine, son Eugene Bradshaw and daughter in law of Meriden,Connecticut, daughter Barbara Specyalski of Boothbay Maine,Grandson David Specyalski of Middletown,Connecticut,Paul Specyalski of Boothbay,Maine, Grandson Eugene Bradshaw Jr of Meriden, Connecticut, Granddaughter Robbin Bradshaw of Portland,Connecticut, 3 great granddaughters, 3 great grandsons, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held September 10, 2020 at 2pm at the Oak Lawn cemetery in Boothbay Harbor,Maine.
