ASTLE, DUANE CHARLES The passing of Duane Charles Astle of Astle, NB, husband of Diane Roberta (Nolan) Astle, occurred on August 29, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 26, 1944 in Astle, NB, he was the son of the late Eva Irene (Hunter) Astle and Leonard Charles Astle. Duane enjoyed being outside hunting and fishing as well as playing poker and bingo. He loved visiting his family and friends. Beside his wife Diane, Duane is survived by daughter, Sherri Lynn Astle-Cameron (Timmy Munn); son, Ryan Charles Duane Astle (Corrie); brothers, Billy Astle (Sylvia) and Reggie Astle (Nora); sisters, Shirley Johnston (Fred) and Jeanne Black (Terry); sister-in-law Judy Astle; grandchildren, Kenneth Jeffery (Nikki) Cameron, Evie Claire Astle, Hayden Joel Astle and Brinley Mae Astle; great grandchildren, Ava Marie Cameron and Austin Myles Cameron; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Kendall Astle and Tommy Astle; sister-in-law, June Astle. Cremation has taken place, arrangements are under the care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel.
