<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp; Bruce Frees</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; The death of Bruce Frees of Dalhousie occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 25, 2020 at the age of 64. Born in Dalhousie, the son of the late Robert and Emma (Donahue) Frees.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Bruce &nbsp;played Pro Hockey for the International hockey league for the Milwaukee Admirals.&nbsp;He was self employed for 40 years in British Columbia. His favourite place to travel was Vietnam as he traveled there several times. He loved the culture, people and food. Bruce loved &nbsp;watching sports, listening to music, interested in politics and loved animals, especially all his beautiful Rottweilers he had over the years. He is mostly known for his big heart as a kind, giving and caring person. Bruce will be missed dearly by his family and friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Bruce is survived by his long life partner Debora Schartner; siblings Maxwell (Sandra) of Grand Bay, Isabel Hobbs (Harry) Belleville, Ontario, Perry (Penny) of Alberta, Elwood (Angie) of Campbellton, Holly Saunders of Saint John, Jill Blount of Saint John, Jerry (Norma) of Quispamsis, Bobby (Collette) of Eel River Crossing, Kim Frees of Montreal, Sally Frees (Ron) of Charlo; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews. Bruce was&nbsp; pre deceased by his siblings Aubrey, Wilbur, Carl, Tena, John.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; A private funeral service by invitation only due to the Covid restrictions will be held September 12, at St. John&rsquo;s United Church, Dalhousie at 2 PM. For those wishing to make donations in memory of Bruce, the family would appreciate donations to the Restigouche S.P.C.A. or the Dalhousie Food Bank. The Frees Family wish to thank the Doctors and Nurses of the ICU at the Campbellton Regional Hospital for their care and compassion. Words could not express our appreciation during these difficult times.   Bruce Frees

 

   The death of Bruce Frees of Dalhousie occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 25, 2020 at the age of 64. Born in Dalhousie, the son of the late Robert and Emma (Donahue) Frees.
