Celia May Martin Hicks age 90 homemaker of Grove Hill, AL died August 29, 2020 at Jackson Health Care Facility. She was born June 21, 1930 in Mobile, AL to Frank G. and Celia Hill Martin. She was a member of Tompkins Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Charles L. Hicks of Whatley, AL; daughter, Linda Hicks Jackson of Jackson, AL; brother, Dr. Royce Martin of Saraland, AL; two sisters, Jean Norton of Eight Mile, AL., and Carol Carpenter of Chatom, AL; six grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kirvin Hicks, and her son, Larry G. Hicks. Graveside funeral services will be held at Tompkins Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
