PERHAM – James Totman Jr., 89, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at his home in Perham.  He was born on April 15, 1931 in Framingham, MA, the son of James and Mildred (Shepard) Totman, Sr. James was a boy scout, and graduated from Framingham High School in 1949.  He joined the United States Air Force at 21, stationed in Japan and other locations, and served for five years.  He then worked for the Framingham Post Office until his retirement in 1986.  He was also a second generation participant of the Framingham Heart Study. James was a Korean War Veteran, and was a member of the Salvation Army of Framingham for more than 30 years.  He was then a member of the Salvation Army of Houlton from 1990 to the present.  He and his wife have been attending the Crouseville Advent Church for many years. James married his wife Gloria Cail from New Brunswick, Canada in 1958 and were married for over 60 years.  They had four children together: Douglas who passed away in 1979, Deborah of Framingham, MA, Dawn of Irving, Texas, David of Framingham, MA and one granddaughter, Michelle of Framingham, MA. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Crouseville Advent Christian Church.  Donations in his memory may be made to the Crouseville Advent Christian Church, The Salvation Army of Houlton, or the Framingham Heart Study.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.duncan-graves.com
