Jorge “Jorgito” Patlan Torres, 28, of Glenwood, Iowa, was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of August 24, 2020 at the On with Life home in Glenwood, Iowa. (The date of his passing has been changed on our website to better accomodate the public regarding the date of his funeral service.) Funeral mass for Jorge will take place on Wednesday, September 23 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish – St. Mary Catholic Church beginning at 10:30 A.M. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the beginning of services. Jorge Luis Patlan Torres was born November 24, 1991 to parents Francisco Patlan Baeza and Maria Guadalupe Torres de Patlan in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, Mexico. He attended and graduated from high school before he moved to live independently with On with Life in Glenwood, Iowa where he resided for eight years and made many great friends over the years. In his free time, he loved to listen to music, go swimming, and being outside. Although he was here on this earth for a brief period of time, his memories will last a lifetime on those lives that he touched. Left to remember and cherish his memory are his parents Francisco Patlan Baeza and Maria Guadalupe Torres de Patlan and his siblings, Mario Patlan Torres and Luz Maria Patlan Torres.November 24, 1991 - September 18, 202011/24/199109/18/2020
