Elmer David Mullen, 78, of New Hudson, passed away on August 24, 2020. He was born on April 2, 1942 to the late Raymond and Violet Mullen in Detroit, MI. Elmer worked as designer of prototype cars for AMC/Chrysler. He had a passion classic cars. Elmer is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sharon; daughters, Lynne (Christopher) Ellis, Lori (Phillip) McGilvray; son, William Mullen; and 6 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Elmer was preceded in death by grandson, Andrew Straub. Visitation will be held Friday, August 28, 2020, from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home, South Lyon, MI.
