Benjamin Stacey

It is with sadness that the family of the late BENJAMIN STACEY of Point May announce his passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Monday, August 24th at the age of 76.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sisters, Sarah Cousins, Minnie Strickland, Alice Strang (Cliff), Roberta Fleming (Marcel) and Marina Cuza (Kevin); brother, Joseph Stacey (Blin); plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Benjamin was pre-deceased by parents, John and Georgina Stacey; sister, Vera Harnett; brothers-in-law, Bernard Harnett, Bernard Cousins and Gordon Strickland.

In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID-19, a walk through visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 26th from 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9pm.

In following with Benjamin’s wishes, cremation will take place. Funeral Service will take place at the Church of the Most Holy Rosary in Point May, August 29th, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment to follow at the Church of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery, Point May.

In Benjamin’s memory, donations may be made to Point May Cemetery Fund.

Please note that no food or beverages are permitted in the funeral home.
