HOWEVER, THE FAMILY WILL NOT BE PRESENT.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jeanelle Maydelle (Peterson) Barry was born on July 13, 1934, in Omaha, Nebraska. Jeanelle was adopted at the age of 2 by Rev. Lloyd and Lucille (Sanders) Peterson. She lived in Sioux City, Chicago, and Seattle. Jeanelle graduated from Ballard Washington, High School. Jeanelle met Ralph while he was in the service. The couple married on September 9, 1955, in Seattle, Washington. The couple lived in the Seattle area for a couple of years before returning to Woodbine to farm. Jeanelle worked as a CNA at Rose Vista Nursing Home. She also owned and operated her own health product store in Omaha.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jeanelle was a member of the Omaha Gospel Tabernacle, currently a member of the Christ&nbsp;Community Church, but has been attending the First Christian Church in Woodbine. She was also a&nbsp;&nbsp; member of the Red Hats and Kiwanis. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching sports, and church&nbsp;activities. She also enjoyed swimming and her dogs. The couple enjoyed wintering in Texas for 10 years.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jeanelle died on Friday, August 21, 2020, at her home in Woodbine, Iowa at the age of&nbsp; 86 years, one month and eight days.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jeanelle was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Barry of Woodbine, Iowa; six children, Cindy and her husband Bill Cawthra of Max, Nebraska, Mo Barry and his wife Shari of Woodbine, Iowa, Jerome Barry and his wife Chelsa of Lincoln, Nebraska, Cindra Hawkinson of Seattle, Washington, Kendall Barry of Woodbine, Iowa, Shona Nelson of Omaha, Nebraska; AFS son, Arne Dahl and his wife Synnove of Norway; 12 grandchildren; 11+ great- grandchildren; brother, Jerome Peterson and his wife Mary Jo of Salem, Oregon and many other relatives and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
