Obituary of William Moore MOORE, William James "Bill" - Peacefully, at home, with his family at his side, on Monday morning, September 26, 2016. Bill of Peterborough, formerly of Toronto, in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Lynn (Mason) for 30 years. Dear father of Jessica (Kevin Hobbins) and Kory (Emily Griese). Very proud grandfather of Mason. Brother of Cathy (Lawrence Kowal). Dear uncle of Kayte-Lynn and Shannon. Son of the late Velma and Colin Moore. Bill will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. A long haul trucker and owner/operator of William Moore Trucking. A dedicated family man. Bill will be remembered as a tireless worker at home and at his cottage. He loved to build, fish and work on home improvements. Memorial visiting will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Friday, September 30, from 10 am - 12 noon. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 12 noon. A reception will be held following the service and interment at Lakefield Cemetery later.
