Rick Izzard
<p>Rick was born July 24th, 1958 in Pilot Mound, Manitoba to George and Gladys Izzard.<br /> In 1967, they moved to the farm in Runnymede, Saskatchewan.</p> <p>Rick received his education in Kamsack, Saskatchewan and when he completed grade 11. In 1970, he went to technical school in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and took a Heavy Duty Mechanics course. He worked at Nykolaishen’s garage for a period of time and then he went on to work on the oil rigs in Alberta.<br /> In 1989, Rick moved his family from Vegreville, Alberta to Togo, Saskatchewan where he raised his 3 children, Daren, Mark, and Cherylee, until purchasing the family farm in 1999.</p> <p>Rick loved to tinker and fix things around the farm. He also had a love for fishing. Rick was a very proud Grandpa to 2 grandchildren, Hailey and Riley.</p> <p>A private family service was held August 22, 2020.
