Of Bethel Park; age 81; passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020; beloved husband of the late Sandra Baumgartel; loving father of Kurt(Heather) and Brett(Heather) Baumgartel; proud grandfather Luke, Jenna, Reagan and Ian Baumgartel; brother in law of Rick(Joyce) Fletcher; uncle of Patrick, Nathan, Trey and Carsten; also survived by loving cousins.  Albert was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy.   He was an active member of The Anglican Parish of Christ the Redeemer Church and also a member of the Carnegie Rotary Club, the Pittsburgh South Hills Elks B.P.O.E. 2213 Elks Lodge and the VFW in Peters Twp. Albert retired after 30 years from Duquesne Light. He was an avid golfer, boater, water skier, fisherman and he enjoyed traveling with his wife. One of his greatest joys was his grandchildren. Family and friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.  Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 PM at The Anglican Parish of Christ the Redeemer, 120 E. College St. Canonsburg, PA 15317(Everyone please meet at church). Burial will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with military honors.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made The Anglican Parish of Christ the Redeemer.
