Lena Louisa McGillivray
<p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Lena Louisa McGillivray, 93, of Kingston, ID, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Mountain Valley of Cascadia in Kellogg. Lena was born on November 17, 1926 in Kellogg, ID, a daughter of the late Mathew and Mary Blakney.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Lena attended and graduated from Kellogg High School. On June 7, 1945 Lena was united in marriage to Warren McGillivray. Lena was a homemaker and a wonderful mother. Her family was very important to her. She loved to socialize, play cards, dance and enjoy the ODO (Our Day Out) Club for many years. She also liked reading, solving crossword puzzles, knitting, and painting.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Warren, and her sister,Vi Stein.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Lena is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ailie and Tim Lafrenz; a grandson, Greg (Darcy) Lafrenz; a granddaughter, Cristina (David) Duthie; four great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">At Lena’s request, a private memorial service will be held at a later date for immediate family.
