Rosa Mae Bartley Stewart, 85, a resident and native of Morgan City (Siracusa), LA, passed away peacefully on Friday August 14, 2020 at 1:15 PM at her residence. 

Visitation will be observed on Saturday August 22, 2020 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing) Pastor Larry Frank will officiate the services. Services will be accessible by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Page at 11:00 A. M. on Saturday August 22, 2020. Rosa will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following funeral services.

Memories of Rosa will forever remain in the hearts of her: two children, Damita Lynn (Kevin) Hawkins of Patterson, LA and Kevin Stewart, Sr. of Lake Charles, LA; one brother, Earl Bartley of Patterson, LA; two sisters, Patricia (Gilbert) Ramagos of Morgan City, LA and Alberta August of New Iberia, LA; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rosa was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy Stewart; her son, Garrick O'Neal Stewart; her parents, John Bartley, Sr. and Luara W. Bartley; six brothers, Caleb Bartley, Sr., John Bartley, Jr., Warren Bartley, Charles Bartley, Leroy Bartley, Sr. and Ernest Bartley; two sisters, Luara Clark and Gertie Mae Anderson and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
