Hilary Edna Griffin, 84, of Waldwick, NJ, passed away on August 13, 2020.

Hilary was born in Heswall, England.  She worked as a statistician before immigrating to Toronto, Canada in 1963. She married Donald on September 5, 1970 in Heswall, England and settled in New York City, eventually moving to Hartsdale, NY.

Hilary was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Donald Joseph Griffin.

Hilary is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Rooney (David) and Alexandra Fitzpatrick (Brendan) and granddaughters Riley, Madison, Ashley, Emma, Rosemarie, and Fionnuala. Hilary is preceded in death by parents Emma and George Ferguson, brother George Ferguson, and sisters Maureen Ferrill, Joan Evans, and Eileen Ferguson.

Funeral services for Hilary will be held on Monday, August 17, 10:00 AM at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Hilary’s name to St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N. Main Street, Chamberlain, SD  57325. https:/www.stjo.org
