It is with broken hearts that the family of the late James Nolan of St. John's, formerly Frenchman's Cove, NL, announces his passing. James passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's on Thursday, August 13th, 2020, at the age of 70. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his brothers Austin Nolan, Jack Nolan and Allan Nolan, Frenchman's Cove, sister in law Linda Nolan, Frenchman's Cove, nieces Sonya Baker (Mike), Penny, and Kayla Melendy (Justin), George and Beatrice Weymouth and family who were very special family friends and a large circle of other relatives and friends. James was predeceased by his parents John and Bertha Nolan and brothers Kevin and Baby Austin.

The Nolan Family will be accepting visitors at Barrett's Funeral Home, St. John's, NL on Saturday, August 15th, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South, NL on Sunday, August 16th, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Chapel Funeral will take place at Peninsula Funeral Home 4 Markland Road Creston, Newfoundland and Labrador A0E 1K0 on Monday, August 17th, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

Due to COVID-19 this wil be a walk through visitation, we can only allow 20 people in the funeral home at one time.

Please note food and beverages are not permitted in the funeral home.

Interment to follow at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frenchman's Cove, NL.

In James's memory donations may be made to St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Frenchman's Cove, NL.
