Duncan: Richard "Rick" Alan Derryberry, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in Duncan, at the age of 62. At the family's request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service is scheduled at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Pecan Street Church of God. Cremation and all other arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Rick was born Sunday, July 27, 1958 in Downey, CA, to William and Myrna (Evans) Derryberry. He worked as a carpenter for more than 38 years before retiring and had lived in the Stephens County area for the past 5 years as well as living in the Caddo County area previously to that. Rick married his loving wife, Mary Mayo in Chickasha on July 27, 1982; they were married for 38 wonderful years before his passing. Rick enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He liked rock climbing and going to church. Rick loved spending time with his family that he adored. He was a member of the Mainstreet House of Prayer in Duncan. Survivors include, a wife, Mary Derryberry of the home, 2 sons, Bill Derryberry of Palisacle, CO, Chance Derryberry and wife Tabitha of Duncan, a daughter, Jessica Derryberry of Duncan, 8 grandchildren, Jerika, Sylus, Brylyn, James, Ezra, Ivy, Madison, and Skyler. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Roger Allen of Kingston, Jim Allen of Kingston, Gill Allen of Kingston, 2 sisters, Donna Allen of Kingston, Karen Derryberry of TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
