Plainfield- Dawn Marie Havery, 52, left us too soon. She passed away on August 13, 2020 at the Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT, following her short battle with cancer. She was born in Bridgeport, CT on Dec 31, 1967, a daughter to Gordon Havery and Barbara Matzonkai. Dawn was a kind and beautiful soul with piercing green eyes. She had an amazing singing voice and was always seen with a smile. She loved her family and will be missed by so many friends and family. Dawn spent the last 15 years working at Ensinger Precision Components in Putnam, CT. In addition to her fiance, Travis Harwood, she is survived by her Father Gordon Havery and mother Donna Havery; children Victor Alicea III, Kaitlyn and Tyra Reynolds; siblings Carrie Caesar, Cynthia Schick and Gordon Havery Jr. There will be a graveside service held on Saturday August 15th at Evergreen Cemetery in Central Village at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Backus Hospital Oncology Cancer research,Norwich CT or St.Judes hospital.
