A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Lindsey Faith Horton went to be with our Lord in Heaven unexpectedly on Monday, August 10, 2020. She was 27. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Andrews with Pastor Brant O’Connor and CH (MAJ) Kevin Banks officiating. Lindsey was born on November 27, 1992 to Jim and Adrienne McGarvey Horton in Lamesa, Texas. She grew up in Fort Stockton. She attended the Midland College Nursing Program and graduated as a Registered Nurse. She was currently attending UT Arlington and would have graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December 2020. Lindsey was a nurse at Permian Regional Medical Center and was known for her compassion for patients and their families and was considered to be among the best in the nursing field. She loved singing and playing guitar. She had a beautiful singing voice and a love for music. Lindsey spent her leisure time traveling, shopping, exercising on her Peloton bike and loving on her cat, Phoebe (named after the character on Friends). She was funny, outgoing and brought joy to everyone she touched. Her friends and family will always remember her infectious smile, blue eyes, and caring personality. Her presence will be sorely missed. Lindsey is survived by her parents, Jim and Adrienne Horton of Rankin, Texas, brother Luke Horton and wife Lauren of Dallas, Texas, grandparents, Ed and Karla Horton of Lamesa, Texas, grandmother Rona McGarvey of Houston, Texas, grandmother Bobette Doerrie and husband Jerome of Booker, Texas, aunts, Erin Stoesz and husband Keith of Madison, Wisconsin, Carol Banks and husband Kevin of Tyler, Texas, Leah Hoben of Grand Prairie, Texas, uncles, Tom McGarvey of Dallas, Texas and Neill Horton of Kansas City, Texas.
