Myra Pearl Alston was born June 16, 1928 to the union of Alonzo and Margaret Wilson. She passed from this life August 9, 2020.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Martin Alston on September 7, 1946. To this union 9 children were born...

She leaves to cherish her loving memories of her Husband Martin Alston, one son, Fredrick (Brandi) Alston of Elyria, six daughters Bonnie Alston Juanita Alston Shirley Keith Matilda (Charles) Inman of Elyria, Cynthia Thorpe of Lorain, Barbara (James) Bryant of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Brother Robert (Stephanie) Wilson and sisters Johnnie (Ellis) Capers, Jessie Gilmore from Mobile, Alabama. 33 grandchildren and 75 great grandchildren and 35 great great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Margaret Wilson; Sons, Micheal and Charles Alston;  Sisters, Bessie Rodgers, Earline Capers, Annette Brown, Bessie Johnson and Lucille Rembrant; Brothers, Alonzo Wilson, Mose Wilson, Robert Wilson, Joe Daniel, Robert Ellis and Howard Wilson; Great grandchildren, Jamacia Alston, Micheal Cannon and Jaleel Woods.

A walk-thru will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Unity Baptist Church, 326 Fuller Rd., Elyria, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Willie Gardener will officiate. Burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
