BAKERSFIELD – Thomas “Teed” Lawyer, age 83, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 10, 2020. Teed had a love for his family and enjoyed Sunday get togethers for a drink and conversation. He was a life-long dairy farmer with his wife and took great pride in the farm and the land that surrounded it. After selling the cows he spent much of his free time hunting, fishing, and gardening. In the summer you could find him relaxing under his favorite tree in the garden. Teed was predeceased by his parents, Red and Margaret Lawyer. He is survived by his wife Peggy. his son, Lance and his wife Sharon and his daughter, April and her husband Tim. His grandchildren, Katie, Tara and her fiancé Chris, Tyler, Ryan and his wife Alicia, Emily and her fiancé RJ, and Colby. His great grandchildren, Hunter, NyAsia, Jace, Camden, Keira, Ava, Evelyn, and Leo. In keeping with Teed’s wishes, there will be no services. His family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. “You raised a fine family, worked the land well and always followed the Son.
