Suddenly on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Thompson General Hospital, Mr. Walter Walsh passed away at the age of 48 years.

Friends may call at Boardman Funeral Home, 28 Nelson Road on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., “COVID SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES APPLY” a private family service will be held at 3:15 with Rev. Spence officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of cremains to take place in Newfoundland.

Walter was born in St. Lawrence, NFLD and then moved to Lynn Lake. MB at the age of 7, then to Leaf Rapids at the age of 8. He graduated high school in Leaf Rapids and later moved to Thompson where he was employed with Vale.

He leaves to mourn his passing his partner Eva, his sons: Adam and Patrick of Thompson. Sisters Cindy Walsh “ Nicole, Cody, Landyn” of Marystown, Nlfd. and Andrea (Sean) Forton “Zander, Kiana” of Esterhazy, SK.. One brother Andrew of Thompson. Plus numerous relatives and friends
