Fred L. Pierdolla

On August 10, 2020, Fred Pierdolla, Jr. loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was the cornerstone of his family built on a Christian foundation. Fred was born on November 16, 1930 in La Vernia, Texas to Fred L. Pierdolla, Sr. and Ruby L. Stahl. Fred married the love of his life Cherry Dugan Pierdolla, on October 8, 1950 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Cherry along with his sons, Hollis Wade Pierdolla and Forrest Brian Pierdolla; his parents; and sisters, Colleen Bownds, Wanda “Pippen” Von Minden, and Betty Jo Gipson. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his family, sons Fred Pierdolla III (Sharon) and Jeffery Pierdolla (Tracie); daughters-in-law, Sharon Pierdolla and Mary Jo Pierdolla; grandchildren, Jeannie Nodine (Glenn), Timothy Pierdolla, Jeffery Nodine (Mel), Kirsten Smith (Jeffrey), Brandon Pierdolla (Shannon), Christopher Pierdolla (Samantha), Tyler Heideke, Jardyn Pierdolla (Justin), Brittany Pierdolla, Sarah Pierdolla (Garrett) and Hunter Pierdolla (Keana); as well as 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas. FUNERAL SERVICE Thursday, August 13, 2020 10:00am Finch Funeral Chapel La Vernia, TX Reverend Dr. Bob Palan will officiate the service.
